These gorgeous new beads are the "new" version of the old frosted beads. My manufacturer in China does not seem to be doing the old style frosted beads any more, and I haven't been able to figure out yet whether or not they'll do them on a special order basis for me. But I'm having a hard time feeling too disapointed because I really like these beads! The "frosting" isn't as heavy on these, which means they still have a matte/frosted appearance, but the eye shines through more brightly. They almost glow from inside, and I think they have a sort of velvety finish. |
