This is what I'll be wearing for the holidays - a sparkly set, in festive shades of Swarovski crystal. The bracelet and necklace are quite easy, requiring basic stringing skills only. You can review those techniques, here:

The bracelet is in this set is a double stranded design, made with lots of gold spacers and rounds, and mixing in a 4mm and 6mm "Candy Cane" Swarovski bead mix. The left over Swarovski crystals are used in the necklace. Don't feel as if you have to follow this pattern exactly. I wanted a double stranded bracelet, where the two strands were different sizes for the visual effect. I wanted a simple, sparkly "floating" necklace to match. If you have rounds and spacers on hand - mix them with the Swarovski Candy Cane mixes to acheive a totally one of a kind piece! That said - here are the parts I used.

Bracelet & Necklace Parts Needed:

The Bracelet Pattern:

  • The smaller strand of the bracelet has the pattern:
    • 4mm Gold Round
    • 3mm Spacer
    • 4mm Bicone
    • 3mm Spacer
    • 4mm Gold Round, etc.
The bicone colors alternate, going from crystal, white opal, light siam, and siam, and then starting over again.

  • The larger strand has the same general pattern, except that the parts are larger:
    • 6mm Gold Round
    • 5mm Spacer
    • 6mm Bicone
    • 5mm Spacer
    • 6mm Gold Round, etc.
Again, the bicone colors alternate, going from crystal, white opal, light siam and siam. I used the bali barrel beads on either end, and in the center of the bracelet.

  • I used a two-stranded toggle for the bracelet - easy to work with and easy to open and close.

The Necklace Pattern

  • The necklace is a floating necklace - I used the gold plated wire, and then beads in this pattern:
    • 6mm Gold Round
    • 5mm Spacer
    • 6mm Bicone
    • 5mm Spacer
    • 6mm Gold Round, etc.
The bicones alternate, going from crystal, white opal, light siam and siam, with a bali barrel in the middle, and then backwards from siame, light siame, white opal, and crystal. Much of the wire in this necklace is exposed, which is why the fancy plated wire is used, and the beads slip and shimmer and sparkle and just look fantastic!

If I had had more time - I might have made a double stranded necklace to match the bracelet. But I was out of time while crafting this set. The necklace got tons of compliments, though, so I am not dissapointed!
